I've been invited to post daily something that I am grateful for throughout the month of November. This is the 2010 Gratitude Challenge.
Today I am thankful for sunshine, blue skies and few clouds.
They allow my house to warm up naturally during the day without the need to start up a raging fire in the wood stove and the make my kids think it's really warm outside so they want to go OUTSIDE to play and be loud.
I love them but am just thankful that they have a wide, safe, outside world to go to in order to shout away Pirates, villains and that ever returning rascal: Godzilla!

I really appreciate the sun. When the winter comes and the days get short, I start to feel so icky. I can't be out in direct sunlight much, but I love the feeling of it right now, through the window. We're having a bright, beautiful fall day.

I'm with "Village!" I get a bit crabby during the gray of winter, and I just love the few sunny days that we have. I have to savor each one. Enjoy yours! They truly are a blessing!
Sunshiny days really are fun. My in-laws live in WI and I know you will not have those days for long. Enjoy them while you can.
Sunshiny days sound wonderful! I know we have been trying to avoid the heater ( no woodstove here...) but it has been dropping pretty low at night.
